Privacy Policy
1. Information processed by the app
To provide printing and device-management features, the app may process the following information locally on your device:
- Printer and connection information, such as device name, Bluetooth address, IP address, port, and connection preferences.
- Content you create or select for printing, including text, commands, templates, barcodes, QR codes, and images.
- App settings, print tasks, history, logs, quick parameters, and backup data.
This information is not uploaded to a server operated by the developer.
2. Permissions and their purposes
- Bluetooth and nearby devices: used to discover, connect to, and communicate with Bluetooth printers.
- Location: on Android versions that require it, location permission is requested only to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. The app does not track, store, or transmit your location.
- Camera and photos: used only when you choose to take or select an image for printing. Images are processed on your device and sent only to the printer or destination you select.
- Network and Wi-Fi state: used for local-network printer connections, TCP server features, and device-to-device data transfer. The app does not use these features to upload your print content to the developer.
3. Google Play purchases
Optional Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google may process your Google account, payment, order, and device information under the Google Privacy Policy. JustThermalCheck checks purchase status and receives a purchase token/signature needed to unlock features, but it does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
4. Sharing and disclosure
The developer does not sell your personal data. Data leaves the app only when needed for an action you initiate, such as sending print data to a selected printer, transferring a backup to another device, using Android's share sheet, or completing a purchase through Google Play.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Settings, templates, histories, logs, and other app data are stored locally until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. You control copies exported through backup or sharing features. Google retains purchase records according to its own policies.
6. Security
JustThermalCheck limits processing to what is needed for the features you use and relies on Android application isolation and Google Play purchase protections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so use trusted printers and networks when sending sensitive print content.
7. Children's privacy
JustThermalCheck is a general-purpose printer utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
